Customer Recipes Using Our Spice Rubs

Asian Fusion Quinoa and Seitan by Lauren South

  • Chicken style seitan
  • Red Bell Pepper cut in strips
  • Chopped Jalapeño
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • Indonesian Curry Spice Rub
  • Cucumber
  • Chopped Fresh Basil
  • Bean Sprouts

Cook quinoa according to package directions. Steam red bell pepper and jalapeño. Brown seitan then add broth it was packaged in. Add Indonesian curry spice. Add bell pepper and jalapeño. Cook until it thickens a bit.  Pour over quinoa. I like to top with bean sprouts, chopped basil, and thinly sliced cucumber. Add sriracha and/or plum sauce if desired.

Creamy Curry Sauce by Sheila O’Malley

  • 4 tbl of Cream Cheese
  • 1 tsp (heaping) Indonesian Curry Rub
  • 12 cooked shrimp (can use cubed cooked chicken)
  • 3 cups brown rice

Melt cream cheese in small pan, add spice rub, add cooked shrimp and heat it through.  Pour over cooked rice.

Taco Salad Dressing by Gina Jacobs

  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup of Cabo San Lucas Carne Asada Rub
  • 1 bottle of light ranch dressing

Mix spice rub with bottle of light ranch dressing

Tropical Shrimp and Pasta by Sheila O’Malley

  • 12 cooked shrimp
  • 4 cups cooked whole wheat spaghetti
  • 2 tsp Tropical Lime Pink Peppercorn
  • 3 tbl Olive Oil

Heat olive oil in a pan and add spice rub to the hot oil. After a minute add the cooked shrimp and then add cooked pasta and toss it all together

Cabo San Lucas Potatoes by Anne Marie Roach

  • 4 medium sized potatoes,  thinly sliced
  • 1 tbl (or to taste) Cabo San Lucas Carne Asada Spice Rub
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Pour olive oil into hot frying pan, spreading evenly over bottom of pan.  Shake spice rub into heated oil & mix together.  Add thinly sliced potatoes and cook several minutes over high heat, turning frequently, until tender

Cabo Tacos by Sheila O’Malley

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 tbl Cabo San Lucas Carne Asada Rub

Brown beef and add spice rub, optional add 2-3 tbl of prepared salsa.
